It is a great coffee maker. I use it at work and after I start it I don't have to worry about burning, it shot itself off after the coffee is brewed.Joseph Guccione (06-16-2009) 
I wholeheartedly agree with Cate, i.e., it tastes more like strong coffe. As you begin pouring it out, it is thinner coffee. As you get to the last few ounces, it's really thicker. So if you're making for two, hopefully one person likes it stonger than the other. Otherwise, you'll have to split your pouring to give equal amounts of thin and thick. This machine works well. I wouldn't consider it an espresso maker though, as the brew tastes more like strong coffee than espresso even though I am using the sme grind that I use on my stove top espresso maker. It is great for travel though. D. Weiner ( )
