Made in Italy by Musso, it is a completely self-contained freezing unit.
Fully automatic and precisely controlled by a timer, this machine takes the trouble and guesswork out of making ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, gelato, and frozen drinks at home. Ingredients go into the bowl, the timer is set, two buttons are pressed and about 30 minutes later 1-1/2 quarts of a frozen confection are ready for consumption. Because the machine doesn't require its bowl to be frozen for hours in a refrigerator's freezer (like less expensive machines that only churn), it can immediately begin making another batch. If a batch becomes too hard the machine shuts off automatically. Not only does it work professionally it looks the part, as the housing, bowl, and paddle are made of stainless steel for sanitation and easy cleaning.

I've had my machine for over 4 years and have used it at home and at my restaurant. It is wonderful and makes the best ice cream and fresh fruit ices anywhere. I've had this model now for 2 years. One of the best frozen desert machines I've used. It will make anyone not want to buy ice cream again. I bought it to make lemon ice, and now am makeing everything from ice cream to frozen daquiri's. It's possibilities are endless.Howard Burch (09-07-2007)
This ice cream maker is great and easy to use and the ice cream is great.But the claim to freeze ice cream in 30 minutes I have to disagree. 30 minutes would make a good milk shake but for good ice cream it takes about 50 minutes.
