The newest addition to the la Pavoni line - the 100 oz Stainless Steel Espresso/Cappucino maker with conical Burr grinder.
It is not only exquisitely gorgeous but built to last a very long time. The body of this maker is made of 18/8 stainless steel. It is then polished to a gloss finish. This is a new semi-automatic maker. The start and stop of the flow of coffee is manually done via the button. This maker also features a built-in coffee grinder which allows coffee to be ground freshly before brewing.
The Napolitana is Built in Italy, the home of espresso coffee, and has stainless steel filter baskets, a built-in conical burr grinder and a coffee press. In order to assure the user freshly tasting coffee every time, the return of unused water from the pump goes back into the water reservoir. This method is the latest in coffee dispensing technology. The virtually noiseless Ulka pump produces 16 bars of pressure which guarantees creamy, rich, flavorful espresso every time.
The conical burr grinder grinders can be set to multiple settings. The grinders work at low RPM speed in order to prevent the beans from burning. For all other coffee needs, simply remove the catch tray located below to grind. With this maker, cappuccino is both quick and abundnat with the pressurized frothing attachment.

La Pavoni system of obtaining the coffee and the mechanics of the machines remained the same till the post-war period, although it sometimes created a sour, "burnt" taste, caused by the fact that - while brewing - steam (in addition to water) was let through the coffee.
