I would call it all-purpose grind. I use Illy ground coffee for espresso maker, my brother – for his drip coffee maker. And makes good coffee with rich taste in both.Michele (08-07-2004)

Arguably the best coffee for Italian caffè (espresso). The medium roast, fine grind is the coffee of northern Italy. Brings back fond memories of my over two years of Army service in northern Italy (Vicenza) and coffe at the sidewalk cafes with my wife.
