This is my first grinder. A can say now with certainty, that this is the best first grinder for serious espresso newbie. A big plus: it is heavy and it does not move when dispensing coffee. My friends warned me that most of grinders suffer from static build-up, but not this one! No static at all unlike some other cheaper plastic bodied grinders. The only thing I do not like is that it looks a bit plain, but on the whole it is well made and I think it should last a long time.

I have had this grinder now close to 20 years and it finally needs replacement. This grinder is great. I'm just glad I found your site and can get a new one to replace it.
