Works very nice.Stephen ( )
I have been operating one of these machines for 17 years and the Gaggia is still doing a fine job at a rate of 2 coffees every day.David ( )
My wife was very skeptical about spending the money on this machine, but as soon as it arrived and we tried it three or four time she understood it was a perfect choice. This is a good replacement for our old Briel Chamonix, wich we owned for three years.
This is a very good machine for a beginner, you will need a good tamper for it, and never be afraid of trying various settings to make the best espresso. I grind my beans with blade grinder and get quite consistent grind for this machine.andy ( )
proud owner for 4 years works fine only trouble was gasket replacement $15 at the local Gaggia repair centerJohn ( )
I have owned 2 Gaggia machines in 8 years and have love them both. One I bought for my office and one for home. Both have not caused no problems and make great coffee!Fryzetti ( )
I have owned the Classic since 1998 and love it. I have replaced the pump and cup holder gasket, once and now need an o-ring for my frother, (and the parts were cheap, too) It has made great crema and 3-6 cups per day since 1998. I would do it again.Glen D Harrell (09-01-2009)
Bought my Gaggia in 1988 from Williams Sonoma. I use it daily at my office and it makes a good consistant cup of espresso. This machine is a work-horse without the frills. I don't know if the new machines are made the same but if they are half as good they are still twice better than many other models
